With our stressed out brains
We headed for Mauritius
For the ASATA
Conference
At Trou Aux Biches
With a drink in one hand
And a hat on
the head
A warm Beachcomber welcome
What more could be said
So much
to say
So much to do
With the cocktail party
And friends old and
new
The morning it started
With a bright coloured beach ball
A
wallowing hippo
And laughter from all
So in life we have options and
they’re
Up to you
Make sure you wear the right T-Shirt and
Oh, and
on a scale of 1 to 10 how will you do
Under the stars
All dressed in
white
Thank you SAA
For a wonderful night
How was that dance floor?
Floating they said
At least we could blame it
For the state of our
head
The music was magic
We danced up a storm
Robyn didn’t
disappoint
She was on top form
Now to the morning
And could I
perhaps say
Some hadn’t quite realised
That it was the next day
We’re in the right place
And we’re in the right time
So says David
Silke’s
To watch our GDP climb
Look for potential
Learn from
success
We have all the resources
To alleviate stress
Justice
Malala
Requested applause
For his prediction of Julius
And his
nationalization cause
We thought he would speak
Of the shield and the
spear
But there were more pressing matters
For us to hear
To all of
our sponsors
We can’t say thank you enough
For without you the
conference
Just wouldn’t be hot stuff
SAA, Travelport and American
Express
Beachcomber, TIC with all their flattery
Europcar, Sun
International, Protea Hotels
Trafalgar, City Lodge and Holiday Factory
Air Mauritius, Avis, Serendipity Tours
Diners Club, Amadeus now that’s a
stack
Let’s not forget Cruises Int and Bidvest Bank
We hope in 2013
you’ll all be back
You’re sexy and you know it
Robyn and your team
And each year gets better
You just never run out of steam
In the words
of Paul McGee
Our SUMO guy
Shut Up Move On
Think how? Not why?

Thank you all very much for a most enjoyable and well organized conference in Mauritius. Your team has once again proved to be very competent. I really enjoyed the speakers and am excited to hear about the plans for skills development benchmarking...
Dear Robyn, On behalf of Lee-Ann and myself, many thanks for the invitation to join you all at the ASATA Congress in Trou Aux Biches from 1 to 4 June 2012. We realized on leaving the resort that we should probably have planned an extended stay especially with the great weather and the fantastic hotel, beach and environment. Congratulations to you and your entire team for a very successful congress, one full of excellent content, great food, entertainment, and hospitality from ASATA and Beachcomber. You have all got the planning and execution of your congress down to a fine art and the conversation between all of us travelling back to the airport was very complimentary to you all. Many thanks and well done...
Dear Robyn and all at ASATA ...a big thank you for all the hard work from you and your staff! I can’t begin to think how difficult it must be every year to arrange this conference. Thank you also for getting the speakers together. Every year I find them most informative and have already begun to implement some of the points noted during the conference. Kind regards from both Lindi and I.
Dear Robyn, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for arranging and executing a superb conference at Trou Aux Biches. I walked away with a feeling that the industry is finally ready to join hands and start to work together on issues that affect us all. There was also clear acknowledgment that we need to start taking charge of the future of our industry and that ASATA was best positioned to drive this on our behalf. Finally I think that the industry leaders and the key players are beginning to understand how important their roles are in ensuring we succeed in taking ASATA in the right direction and making it the bull dog WITH the teeth it needs to have...
Dear Robyn, Just a short note to say, congratulations on yet another extremely exciting conference. The ASATA conference, is special for me... I have walked away from this one, feeling a little richer in knowledge and have a greater understanding on the challenges affecting our mutual world. Be assured as you embark on the journey to rise above these challenges, your National Carrier will be right by your side – providing the support your organisation so well deserves. Thanking you again...
Hi Karen, I was hoping to say goodbye to you on Tuesday but unfortunately I missed you. However, I just wanted to say thanks to you, Jackie and the team for being such great company and great people to work with. I had a fantastic time and your support and professionalism greatly added to the experience. Hope SUMO makes a difference.
Dear Robin ... Just a small note to thank you for the fantastic conference last weekend in Mauritius. Well Done! It must have been very challenging to organize and plan everything. For me it has been an honour and great pleasure to be part of the conference.
Hi Robyn, Back in Joburg and thoroughly missing Mauritius and the whole crowd! Congrats to you and the team on a fabulous conference. Enjoy your extra time out there and look forward to catching up again soon.
Good Morning Ladies... This is just a short email to thank you so very much for all you do. Your hard work, your commitment and ability to give of yourselves to each one of us is just amazing. We are all unique, different, want things per our way but you manage each year, making each of us happy, blowing our minds away totally with the venues, countries and people you partner with. Moreover, you teach us lifelong lessons through the speakers that you put together. Gosh Robyn your gift to find people that can impact us is a blessing – thank you. I had a chat with a couple of people during the conference of how we don’t thank you enough. I wish there was a word bigger deeper than thank you, I would have used it. As there isn’t, really thank you so much for all you do...
Dear Robyn and team, Thank you for an enormously productive ASATA conference. I thoroughly enjoed the good speakers and content of the 2 day conference, not to forget the exquisite location and beautiful company. A special word of thanks to everyone who went to great lengths to get me accomodation and flights at such short notice - am extremely grateful.
